LUCAA+ Pet Probiotic Allergen-Free is a dog skin allergy prevention spray. You can use it to significantly improve uncomfortable, itchy skin (atopic) symptoms caused by environmental and seasonal allergies. The spray is easy to use for pets with itchy, flaky skin, excessive scratching, hot spots and rashes. It helps your pet to feel happier and more comfortable. Suitable for cats and other pets too!
This pet skin allergy care spray was recently featured on Raw Pet Medics as a new way to treat skin allergies in dogs. The unanimous verdict was it’s ‘an amazing product’ that veterinary practices are using in the field. It is suitable for all pets, including cats and rabbits as well as dogs.
LUCAA+ Pet Allergy-Free contains ‘good’ (probiotic) bacteria, naturally sourced from plants. These helpful probiotics restore natural and healthy balance to the skin (the microbiome).
- Prevents allergies.
- Significantly reduces itching.
- Eliminates organic allergens (food for the probiotics).
- Easy to use: spray directly to fur and surrounding surfaces.
- Made with natural and controlled ingredients.
The spray is also certified vegan and cruelty-free.
Protects Pets from Bio-Allergens that Trigger Symptoms
Pet allergy prevention is increasingly needed as atopic allergies in pets are becoming more common. They are caused by seasonal and environmental triggers including dust mite, pollen, mould spores and chemicals. Dust mites live in house dust and fabric-covered surfaces such as curtains and bedding. They produce droppings around twenty times a day, which can trigger uncomfortable reactions.
In addition, household cleaning products can contain chemicals that significantly impact the health of pets. This increases the need for dog skin allergy prevention.
The spray is safe and beneficial for other pets too, including cats. Always contact your vet before use if in doubt.

Use
Ingredients
Ensure your pet is as clean as possible for best results. Shake before use. Spray LUCAA+ Allergen-Free directly onto the coat and brush through gently to ensure an even application.
Depending on the severity and the size of the animal – apply twice daily for the first few days then reduce to one, then reduce as required. It is beneficial to spray on any exposed skin areas – and to spray the animal’s living and sleeping environment, including bedding and collars. Suitable for use indoors and outdoors.
Veterinary Recommendation for Using LUCAA+ Pet Allergen-Free Spray:
“Regarding application, I use your guidelines but would add that priority should go to contact and hairless areas of the dog’s body; so paws, tummy, groin, armpits and ears (hairless area often exposed to environmental allergens) and any skin folds that a specific patient may have.
As a rule of thumb, we say two applications per day for the first few days then reduce to one, then reduce to ‘as needed".
How much to spray on each time is again dependent on the severity of the condition (and size of the dog). There is about 200 sprays from each 300ml bottle so there is no need for the owner to hold back (and no negative effect from the sprays).
So, 4-5 sprays on each side of a lab size animal would result in 2 applications per day for, say, 4 days (80 sprays); followed by 1 application per day for 4 days (40 sprays); leaving a third of the container left for ‘as required’ applications.” Dr. Richard Doyle, Wylie Vets, Brentwood.

Can I use this spray with other shampoos or skin products?
Can I use this spray with other shampoos or skin products?
LUCAA+ works by adding beneficial probiotic bacteria to your pet’s skin, so it should not be used at the same time as anything antibacterial or antimicrobial. Doing so would simply kill the good bacteria you have just applied. Check other products carefully, as many natural shampoos and skin sprays also have antibacterial properties.
How should I apply the spray for the best coverage?
How should I apply the spray for the best coverage?
Brush or wipe away any surface dirt and shake the bottle well before use. Spray directly onto the problem areas, paying particular attention to the paws, tummy, armpits, groin, outer ears and skin folds. Gently massage it through the coat and allow it to dry naturally. It does not need to be rinsed off.

How often should I apply LUCAA+ Allergen-Free?
Begin by applying it up to twice daily for the first few days. Once your pet is more comfortable, you can gradually reduce this to once daily or two to four times a week, depending on their individual needs.
Can I spray it onto broken or damaged skin?
Can I spray it onto broken or damaged skin?
LUCAA+ Allergen-Free is intended for allergy-prone and sensitive skin. For broken skin, wounds or raw hot spots, we recommend using LUCAA+ Probiotic Pet Wound Care Spray instead. Contact your vet if the area looks infected, is getting worse or is causing your pet significant discomfort.

Michelle Masters Arrived promptly. Can't really tell if it is working as we are using a number of different products to try and sort Poppy's skin out. I didn't want to spray on the itchy bits direct incase it stung, managed to spray on her back but she wasn't happy (going through a bit of desensitivity training with water at the moment!) so have only sprayed where she lays.
J
Jemma Kennard Easy to use, the smell is great and feel that it’s helping my atopic dermatitis suffering girls patchy skin. Her fur is growing back and seems calmer , she also doesn’t mind it being sprayed on her.

Gary Lunn We’ve been using the Lucaa pet allergen spray on Frankie’s tum & leg pit areas for 2/3 weeks. It has helped reduce frenzied stratching but by no means has stopped him just yet. Not sure how much now is him scratching as a habit he enjoys. We’ll keep using the spray as it does seem to be helping. At least our nerves are no longer frayed like they were.
Dear Gary. Thank you for posting a review and we are pleased to hear that the spray is helping albeit not totally removing the problem. You can increase the amount you are spraying and this may help to reduce the symptoms.

Alison Ford I am using this, in conjunction with Ditch the Itch and some other natural products, on my dog who has lots of allergies. Normally he has a monthly injection at the vets to stop his itchiness, which is extremely costly. However this month I haven't needed to take him to the vet. It, in conjunction with the other products, is keeping his itchiness at bay.
The spray is very easy to use. I put it on his paw pads every day. I am much happier using natural products than having him injected with drugs.
Hi Alison. Thank you for the great feedback. We are seeing so many customers benefiting from this combination of products this year. It is really encouraging to hear that you can stop the monthly vet visits. Unfortunately it wont solve this issue but if you can manage it naturally then it is a win win.

Rosemary Brilliant, it does help
With the scratching

Rosemary George Over the years I have tried numerous brands that say they work, but never did for my Bumble. My niece told me about the new one on the market. I just said, no not buying anymore. Then when she came over she bought it with her. Hence I then ordered 2 bottles. It really does work.

Lorna Looks good - hope it works.

Caren Waite This is a new addition to my armoury in the war against itchy pup problems. I already use Allergy Aid and Itchy dog shampoo regularly which definitely help. This spray really works against that sudden itch. Pup scratches, gets a spritz (and a treat) and the itch is calmed! Based on the little time I've used it, I am very impressed. Definitely worth a go.

Emily Grosso This spray has really helped our itchy staff who has some allergies. We have identified some food triggers which has helped but she was still quite itchy with what we suspect are environmental since we started using this spray the difference is significant. Really pleased with it!

Sarah M Orrie my 2yr old Lab was diagnosed with dust mite allergy after a few months of random foot chewing/licking that nothing was stoppping 100%.. Sprayed his feet 4x a day for a week then daily at bed time - and we’re now 3 months without any anti itch meds there’s also a lot of hoovering etc but never going to get rid of dust mite so this spray is a must. Whenever he has a bit of a flare I just spray a bit more often and things settle down. Worked when he started scratching his chin more (storage mite allergy too!!). Also being a boy certain bits are in contact with carpet more!!! And we’re getting a bit more attention than they normally would - so with regular spritzing normal service has returned. I recommend this product to everyone who mentions they’ve got a dog with itchy issues. Also love the fact it’s a non chemical, environmental friendly product too. So glad canine natural cures are stocking it.

Rob P Is the probiotic spray safe to use around a pet's mouth area?
Canine Natural Cures
The probiotic spray is safe for use around pets' skin folds, including the mouth area. However, care should be taken to avoid direct ingestion. It is specifically designed for pet use in areas they might lick.
J
Jane Can the Lucaa allergen-free skin spray be used on a dog's coat and skin?
Canine Natural Cures
Yes, the Lucaa allergen-free skin spray can be used on a dog's coat and skin. It is important to note however that the Lucaa spray contains lots of lovely positive bacteria so don't use anything anti-bacterial on your dog at the same time!
T
Tim Can the Lucaa allergen-free skin spray be used on a dog's bedding?
Canine Natural Cures
The Lucaa allergen-free skin spray is intended to be sprayed on your pet but it can be used where the dog lies, including the bedding. If in doubt, test first on a hidden area.
