How should I give homeopathy to my dog?
Our homeopathic tablets and pills should be given 30 minutes before or after food. This is because homeopathy needs to be given on a 'clean tongue'. This means no strong flavours in your pet's mouth. The tablets and pills are very small and taste sweet so most dogs will accept them readily.
If you struggle to give your dog tablets or pills then we suggest that you crush the tablet between the fold of a piece of paper and mix with a drop of milk or in a tiny pat of butter. Most dogs will happily take their homeopathy like this.
Is it true that you shouldn't touch homeopathy?
Yes and no. It is difficult not to touch the tablets at all but try to keep handling to a minimum to preserve its potency. Your homeopathy will be supplied to you in a plastic tube. When giving to your dog simply drop a tablet or pill into the palm of your hand. Most dogs will lick it off your hand as the tablets taste sweet.
What is the dose for a small or large breed of dog?
Whether your dog is a mastiff or a chihuahua they will have the same dose of homeopathy. This makes homeopathy a very economical choice for owners of large breeds!
How quickly does homeopathy work?
Depending on the nature of the problem most customers will see a difference within a week or so. If you don't see an improvement then please get in touch with us as sometimes we can tailor-make homeopathy especially for your dog. There is no extra charge for this service.
What age can I give homeopathy from?
Homeopathy is safe to give to your dog from 12 weeks old. With the exception of our range for pregnant bitches do not give during pregnancy.

Our puppy has been suffering with car sickness and we turned to this treatment as an alternative to chemical medication. We have noticed a remarkable improvement in her already - she is now able to travel around 1/2 an hour without vomiting. I have a fantastic 18 week old lab pup, he sleeps during the night, never messes in the house and walks beautifully on the lead he's perfect apart from car journeys... 2 mins in the car even if its not moving he's sick and I mean really sick, drool sick and whining, we use the car daily and no way was I prepared for this! We tried everything, ginger biscuits not feeding five hours before,calming collar, calming spray, crate/no crate but no, 2 mins and chunder all over the back seat or boot, I got desperate and wanted herbal rather than a short term fix from the vets. Found this website and bought the poor traveller tablets along with calm xtra and hemp oil, I give the tablets x3 a day seperate and the liquid mixed with his food,(he won't take the liquid by mouth as doesn't like the taste) I've built up his car time by getting in the car x3 a day and doing short bursts around the block for the last 3 days, today we went to the beach a 10 minute journey and he slept with no sick,no whining and no drool, I feel like I'm winning at life right now! My only complaint is that either the tab or liquid is giving him a bit of a upset stomach it's not pure runs but tends to be mushy maybe someone can advise? Other than that I'm happy with the products and will continue to build up his confidence and hopefully he will grow out of it sooner rather than later! Thank you

Ruby has been sick and drooling in the car since we brought her home at 8 weeks old. Tried everything to help her but the furthest we could travel was about half an hour before she’d start drooling. Had a 2 hour drive to go on holiday last week, so tried the Poor Traveller tablets - 1 at 30 minutes before we left and a second after an hour on the journey, when we stopped for a short walk and toilet break. Happy to say that there was no sickness or drooling! Did the same on the way back with the same result! Would definitely recommend these tablets!

I got these poor traveller tablets as we had a 3 hour trip & my pup is normally sick after 10 minutes in the car. Gave her the 1st tablet 30 minutes before we were due to leave & gave her the next one 30 minutes later in the car. At least we had past the 10 minutes mark. She was then sick within 10 minutes of giving the second tablet although it was just bile. She refused any tablets after that, but wasn’t sick again.
For the trip home, I did as before, but again she was still sick an hour half later, hence the yes /no review.

Our Poor Traveller tablets are a 100% natural, non-drowsy homeopathic remedy for dogs that get sick or anxious in the car. They can help with drooling, vomiting, shaking, whining, or fear of travel. You can give them 3× daily for 2 weeks (for long-term improvement) or 20 mins before a journey (for quick relief). Most dogs improve within the 2-week period — often sooner! If giving 3× daily, include short, positive car experiences during this time to help desensitise your dog. If your dog is very anxious, start with just sitting in the car with treats or cuddles (no engine). Gradually build up to short journeys that end somewhere fun, like the park. For dogs that are both nauseous and anxious, pairing Poor Traveller with Calm Xtra can be even more effective. Calm Xtra works in about 20 minutes and can be added to food or treats. Calm Xtra is for anxiety whereas Poor Traveller is for nausea however it is important to recognise that two are often connected so dogs can make themselves feel anxious because they are pre-empting feeling sick.

Sorry but the tablets don't work, my dog is still sick in the car after about 10 minutes of traveling.

Difficult to review as I totally misunderstood the dosage which was written as 1x3. I read this a one dose of three tablets instead of 1 tablet 3 times a day which has totally messed up my being able to state whether or not they work. They certainly don't the way I did it. I will probably give them another go as they do get good reviews

they didn't help and l had great difficulty trying to get him to take the tablets. he usually takes homeopathic medicine that l use ( arnica for example) easily but not your tablets.

Far better than anything else I’ve tried think it helped being able to top up during the journey certainly no panting or drooling and no sickness during 4 hour journey highly recommend

the poor traveller tablets did not work as I had hoped probably because they were not designed for the problem that we have which is that our "Dot" can't wait to get into our car but after 20 minutes begins to howl. Can you please suggest a suitable alternative? Many thanks, Phil Richardson.

Great service. Item arrived quickly. I have given these to our girl on two occasion's. Once three times daily for two days before an hours journey and then again for 25 minute journey. Unfortunately she was still unwell both times. I will preserve to see if things improve.

Prior to using the poor traveller tablets our dog would drool,pant,shake and wimper ,whine and howl for the entire time he was in the car. We recently completed a 5 hour journey with the help of poor traveller tablets. During this trip he panted constantly but the noises and drooling were absent. Barney was still drooling like a running tap and was sick several times.

I am sorry Poor Traveller has not been effective. It works best if you slowly build up the amount of time in the car. We recommend starting with a short journey-maybe only 2-3 minutes in the car where a dog is very car sick, and slowly work up to longer journeys
