Natural Support for Reactive Dogs Articles

1 of 0

Homeopathic support for reactive dogs

Every dog reacts for a reason, whether that’s fear, frustration, past experiences or simply being overwhelmed. If your dog lunges, barks or tenses up around other dogs or people, you’re far from alone. Our natural products are designed to sit alongside your training and routine, helping you support a calmer, more settled dog.

Many owners find their dog responds to just one thing, so we’ve made it easy to find what suits yours.

Which product suits my dog best?

Nonaggress Plus: A daily homeopathic tablet for fearful, reactive dogs, including those who struggle around other dogs.

Supremo: Created for dominant, pushy or strong-willed dogs who find it hard to back down.

Bel4can: Formulated for dogs who react towards people.

Reactive Dog Pack: Our best value option: Nonaggress Plus together with Calm Xtra, our natural calming drops, to support a calmer, more settled dog day to day.

A note on reactivity

Reactive behaviour can have many causes, including pain, fear and past experience. If your dog’s behaviour is new, sudden or worrying, we’d always recommend speaking to your vet, and to a qualified behaviourist for a training plan. Our products are there to support that work, not replace it.

What is a reactive dog?

A reactive dog overreacts to certain triggers, such as other dogs, people, traffic or noises, often by barking, lunging or pulling on the lead. It’s usually driven by fear, frustration or overexcitement rather than a “bad” dog.

What’s the difference between a reactive and an aggressive dog?

Reactivity is an exaggerated response to a trigger, while aggression is behaviour intended to threaten or cause harm. The two can overlap, and a behaviourist can help you understand what’s going on for your dog.

Can natural products help a reactive dog?

Homeopathic products are used to support calmer, more settled behaviour, and every dog responds differently. They work best alongside training and a consistent routine.

How do I choose between Nonaggress Plus, Supremo and Bel4can?

Nonaggress Plus suits fearful, reactive dogs, Supremo suits dominant dogs, and Bel4can is for dogs who react towards people. If your dog fits more than one, get in touch with us for personalised advice.

Should I see a vet or behaviourist first?

If the behaviour is sudden, new or getting worse, speak to your vet first to rule out pain or illness. A qualified behaviourist can then build a training plan to work alongside any natural support.
