🎆 Fireworks season is coming – start now so your dog is settled before Bonfire Night.
Noise Remedy is a homeopathic remedy for dogs who are sensitive to fireworks, thunder, bird scarers and other sudden loud noises. We've been making it for over 25 years and it has helped hundreds of dogs through fireworks season.
It doesn't cause drowsiness, so your dog stays themselves – just more relaxed about the bangs. You can give it every day, or just when you know noise is on the way.
For fireworks season, start now
If your dog is very noise sensitive then we recommend giving Noise Remedy right through mid-October to November. Depending on where you live, fireworks are often let off unexpectedly, so daily use means your dog is always supported.
For the big nights, pair it with Calm Xtra in our Fireworks Special Pack.
Why choose Noise Remedy?
- No drowsiness – your dog stays alert and themselves
- Small, sweet tablets most dogs take happily
- Same dose for every size, from Chihuahua to Great Dane
- Suitable from 12 weeks old
- Give daily, or just when needed
- 84 tablets – 4 weeks' supply
- Made by a small family business with 25+ years' experience
How to give it
- 1 tablet, 3 times a day (for severe noise sensitivity) or give as required on the night
- On noisy nights such as a firework display, give 1 tablet every 30 mins while the noise goes on
- Give away from food, on a clean tongue
- Fussy dog? Crush the tablet and mix with a little milk, plain yoghurt or butter

Homeopathy should be given on a clean tongue with no strong flavours in the mouth - ideally this means not with food. The tablets/pills are small and taste sweet and most dogs will readily accept them. If your dog objects then try giving with a bland flavour such as milk, plain yogurt or even butter.

Homeopathy FAQ
How should I give homeopathy to my dog?
Our homeopathic tablets and pills should be given 30 minutes before or after food. This is because homeopathy needs to be given on a 'clean tongue'. This means no strong flavours in your pet's mouth. The tablets and pills are very small and taste sweet so most dogs will accept them readily.
If you struggle to give your dog tablets or pills then we suggest that you crush the tablet between the fold of a piece of paper and mix with a drop of milk or in a tiny pat of butter. Most dogs will happily take their homeopathy like this.
Is it true that you shouldn't touch homeopathy?
Yes and no. It is difficult not to touch the tablets at all but try to keep handling to a minimum to preserve its potency. Your homeopathy will be supplied to you in a plastic tube. When giving to your dog simply drop a tablet or pill into the palm of your hand. Most dogs will lick it off your hand as the tablets taste sweet.
What is the dose for a small or large breed of dog?
Whether your dog is a mastiff or a chihuahua they will have the same dose of homeopathy. This makes homeopathy a very economical choice for owners of large breeds!
How quickly does homeopathy work?
Depending on the nature of the problem most customers will see a difference within a week or so. If you don't see an improvement then please get in touch with us as sometimes we can tailor-make homeopathy especially for your dog. There is no extra charge for this service.
What age can I give homeopathy from?
Homeopathy is safe to give to your dog from 12 weeks old. With the exception of our range for pregnant bitches do not give during pregnancy.
Can be given 1 tablet 3 times daily. 84 tablets in pack
Can also be given 1 tablet every 1/2 hour if there is a unexpected noisy occurrence, like a firework display or bird scarers.

A blend of homeopathic Borax and Phosphorus.

Christine Moffat My boy Doofus is 4 and a half now and has always been terrified of fireworks. After being on the Noise Remedy regime he’s a different dog! He’s tried many other remedies with little effect but this is a game changer. He even slept through the worst night we had! Thank you so much. Highly recommend them.

Sandra Lily was one extremely sad bubba when there were fireworks around (i rescued her at 7 months old so I don’t know happened to her in her early months )…she would pant & drool so badly & licking your hands & arms & almost try & sit in your pocket ( not easy with a bubba weighing 21 kilos )
BUT… I have been giving her the noise remedy tablets now for 2 /3 weeks on a daily basis & she has been like a different dog..quite chilled out in her chair laying on her back which she has definitely never done before.. & there have been so many fireworks going off this year & its only the beginning of November.. so all I can say is thank you for these amazing tablets & I wish I had known/ given them to her earlier in her life..So fingers crossed that they continue to help my her & that they will also help her during thunderstorms too..
Hi. That is amazing to hear and I am so pleased that the bundle is helping your dog. Good luck with the forthcoming evenings ahead!

Donna Hulla I have a 2 year old golden labrador who is scared to go out runs from the lead to scared to play with a ball outside, very fearful of people, barks at everything and anything scared of so much as a carrier bag. He's been on noise remedy tablets along with nervous dog tablets for about 12 days now but unfortunately I haven't seen no change yet I am hoping that they work but as of yet no change

Tom Robertson Have been giving my dog Noise Remedy for some weeks now plus 'CalmXtra' when needed. She's a Rescue dog and was quite nervous when I got her and freaked out at the sound of loud bangs when out walking, panting and shaking with fear. Since being on both supplements there has been a significant change in her attitude. Although she still doesn't like loud bangs she no longer freaks out and just looks for reassurance. On New Year's Eve she went out into the garden just as a burst of fireworks went off and all she did was turn around and walk back into the house, no panic or shivering sat in her favourite chair, curled up and went to sleep. A huge change from a few months ago.
Dear Tom. So pleased to hear the progress you are making and that our products have helped. From speaking to you on the phone I know it has been a journey for you but it is so rewarding to hear that she is going so much better. She is a very lucky do to have found you. All the best Aisling & Frances

Sylvia Markham It’s early days to tell if the pills are helping. It’s pheasant shooting season and she is still scared of the noise. New Year fireworks will be the big test

Molly Daly-Mathews I love this product nice and natural works very quickly. I have purchased a further two times for my friend's one has a very anxious dog and quite fearful not joining in the rest of her pack, she has only been on this product for a week and showing signs of pup play and not hiding away as much. She has been living in her new family for two years so it was lovely to finally see changes.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with our Noise Remedy product! We're so glad to hear that it has been effective for you and your friend's anxious dog. It's always heartwarming to hear about improvements in our dogs' behaviour. Thank you for being a loyal customer and we hope the positive changes continue. Have a great day!

Celia Chambers I found that the pills and drops had no effect on my dog, he only responded when given valerian based calming Spot On. Made a huge difference very quickly so I know it’s possible at least.

Lisa I was amazed, I hoped after reading other reviews these would work as fireworks are no longer 5th Nov, this year it felt like fireworks latest two weeks, which for stressed dogs is a nightmare, but I genuinely cannot believe the difference from non stop barking to digging the settee all of which stopped and she was so much calmer. My only suggestion would be to put the weight dosage on the pills, my dog is a 35kg golden retriever and if I’d given a small dog 3 pills I think they would be comatosed! Also it would be really helpful if the ingredients were on the bottle, luckily we had no reaction but if she had of had a bad reaction that would be really helpful to be able to give any vets the bottle to know what the dog had taken.
Hi Lisa. Thanks for the review and I am so glad that the Noise Remedy helped your dog. In answer to your question, homeopathy is actually not weight based so the amount to give is the same for dogs of ALL sizes so yes, absolutely you can give 3 tablets daily to a small dog as well as a larger one. Also the ingredients are in small print on the side of the bottle and also listed on the website under ingredients. Hope that helps!

Linda Payne Sadly made no difference to my very sensitive Labradoodle who shook and panted each time a loud firework went off. If loud fireworks were banned there would be no need for these items.
M
Maureen Moodie In the run up to the 5th these pills stopped the anxiety on isolated fireworks incidents. They still helped on the 5th when the noise level was horrendous. We gave her a pill every 20-30 mins for a couple of hours and this reduced the level of anxiety and allowed her to settle in her safe place without the pacing and panting. Would recommend

Lisa Taylor-Pugh Didn’t notice a difference, unfortunately.
J
Jacqqueline Longman Not sure if the noise remedy is working for Willow, but the Calm plus drops are helping get her outside the house again.
j
jane Gemmill Used the noise remedy for 2 weeks now, and I am cautiously optomistist that it is helping.
G
Gillian Manley I was very pleased with your service. I asked a couple of questions by email and received a helpful reply almost immediately. Unfortunately, neither the noise remedy or Sanper 2 has made any difference to Lulu. I've had personal experience of the benefits of homeopathy but it was a lot to expect, Lulu is a 3 yr old rescue, who was abused for the first two years of her life. So we'll just continue with the remedy of patience and love!

Zoey Coombes Tried these around Nov 5th as my dog gets stressed with fireworks. I didn’t think these pills would have much of an effect as I had tried some herbal remedies in the past that didn’t appear to work. However, I was very pleasantly surprised with the result of these noise remedy pills. My dog was aware that fireworks were going off, but instead of running off and hiding, he remained on the sofa with us. He raised his head as he noticed the sound of the firework, but then lowered his head again and rested it on the pillow. He seemed very relaxed (no panting, no lick lipping). I was very impressed with these pills. My dog is a highly reactive rescue and I cannot believe these pills had such a calming effect. I’d definitely recommend!
Hi there. That is fantastic feedback and I am so pleased that Noise Remedy helped. Hopefully next year will be less traumatic too.
K
Kirsty Tod After being spooked at dog show, my boy seemed very sensitive to loud noises, particularly dogs barking. Am halfway through using Sanper2 and Noise Remedy so still early days - haven’t been back to a dog show since so keeping fingers crossed.
K
Kim Peers We used these products to help are dog while fireworks were being let off. Can't believe the result. She stayed calm and relaxed throughout. Will definitely be pursuing these again.
J
Judith Shore It was effective and helpful at the worst moments, but you need to keep dosing each half hour and alternating with the Calm Extra
J
Jackie Bryant Rosie has done really well with the remedies but next time going to start her off two to three weeks earlier. thank you

scott craddock Product seemed to work so pleased I bough this item.
C
Christine Really delighted , no shaking dog this year he even sat at the window and let it all happen round about him. Would thoroughly recommend.
M
Malcolm Eden I feel certain that your cures are really helping Scooby, and I am more than grateful. Unfortunately I am not technically adept - in fact I am quite the opposite. He still does not like the fireworks but does not seem as frightened when using your products, as he was previously. SO please accept pt a big Thank You.

Anne Cascarino My dog is a Goldador, a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Golden Labrador. She was a relaxed dog, nothing phased her, she’s 6 years old and for no reason, I can think of, her behaviour changed. Now she is nervous of everything, strong winds, flies that come in the house, any loud banging, like a door or window, with the wind. She will try and find a quiet corner and just sit and shake, or cuddle right into a family member, looking for security or comfort. She has started to bark if any vehicle, or people walking past our house, it’s constant and very difficult to stop her, she runs back and forth with her hackles up, running from one room to the other, if someone is in any different room. I’ve been looking for something homeopathic for a while. I’ve tried these tablets along with another product, I haven’t been giving Amber them for very long but I think they are helping slightly. I’m going back to the store to see if there is something else I can try. Maybe something has frightened her at some point, when no one was around to see what it was, who knows but I’m determined to get something that will work, homeopathy is my best choice, it’s natural and I don’t believe in pumping pets full of chemicals from the VET, if I do need something for an illness or accident, I will use the medication but this is more of a habit she has gone into, not an illness. This a a lovely family business and nothing is to much for them, they will communicate and discuss things if you have any issues regarding your dog. I definitely will pass on their information to my dog owning friends.
Dear Anne. Thank you so much for taking the time to review our products and to provide such a detailed analysis which I am sure will be a great help to our other customers. Your dog sounds very nervous but I am sure that with the right homeopathy and support from you, she will get there.
J
J.R. I bought this with huge skepticism for my severely noise phobic dog, i teamed it with the Sanper 2 and the Hemp Oil for Anxious Dogs and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. She has been on them just over 2 weeks and she's like a different dog, she still gets spooked by certain noises (everyday things that can't be avoided) but after a bit of reassurance she snaps out of it where as before hand she would go to her crate for hours because she was that scared. I'm hoping these and after she's had her course with a pet behaviour therapist that she will be watching fireworks out the window 😂
Hello
Thank you for posting a fabulous review and I am so pleased that you are delighted with our products. The combination that you selected is definitely great for noise sensitive, anxious dogs and I suggest you keep going with it and then start to gradually reduce the dose.
